Insurance Defense

involving personal injury, property damage, wrongful death, policy language
preparation and interpretation, insurance policy offers and cancellations, S.I.U.,
and agency and insurance coverage questions. Because of this specialization, we
stay informed of trends, practices and developments in the insurance industry
that affect our clients. We continuously review relevant publications and court
decisions and attend and participate in industry-related seminars and other
activities. In addition, our extensive library and computerized legal research
allow the firm to stay abreast of all recent court decisions, developments and
changes in the law.
Corporate Law
The
Corporate Law arena demands of attorneys a broad background that includes
experience with such issues as mergers and acquisitions, real estate, labor law,
anti-trust, securities, litigation, corporate structuring and government
regulation. Taylor Miller meets that demand. Over the years, we have
successfully represented numerous small businesses in a wide variety of
corporate matters. The firm’s small business clients have included both
manufacturers and service companies.
Estate Planning
Taylor
Miller attorneys have assisted hundreds of individuals and families with their
estate planning needs, ranging from writing wills, establishing trusts,
conducting will probate and handling inheritance and business tax issues that
affect heirs. The firm has assisted estates of business owners and other
individuals realize thousands of dollars in tax savings that are rightfully
theirs under the law. Smart estate structuring and successful representation
before the Internal Revenue Service and in the courts are the keys to client

the same time, the firm understands that estate planning is a need not only
among business owners and wealthy individuals. We regularly assist clients with
